Summary/Abstract: It is known that there are different monograms on the coins of the Bosporus state of the Roman domination. We have every reason to read the names of the rulers in these abbreviations. However, the same circuit decoding these designations are still not developed. Especially, a lot of questions arise when deciphering monograms of rulers of the house of Aspurgus. The objects of the study were the monograms found on coins with the image of a five-columned temple and an inscription «ΚΑ—ΠΕ» on the obverse. To read these monograms, we used our technique developed for decoding of ligatures. As a result, it was found that these coins were issued on behalf of Cotys I and his successor Eunones of Phanagoria-Agrippia. Based on this, we conclude that under Nero, the Bosporus king was forced to leave Panticapaeum. This city again became the capital of the Bosporus state only during the reign of Rhescuporis I.
