Summary/Abstract: The torture of text is concept that signifying the tortures that came back to the author when he was writing about his life in the Nazi concentration camp. Elie Wiesel’s “Night” has reduced the words that have no visual value and is focused on those that convey the images. This imagist story makes the book so shocking and stimulates the function of catharsis to the readers. Wiesel wrote this book to give his life deeper sense of meaning and to never forget the massacres that he saw. “Night” is a strong testimony about the absence of God and of humanity and a prayer for the return of the humanity.
