Summary/Abstract: The Albanian literature, being late and small, has taken models from the earliest and greatest literature. So it imitated them just to be part of the signifying literary play, claiming to create not a literary identity, but a national identity. Therefore, it is not authentic on the map of world literature. Throughout its history, it has been religious, political and national propaganda. Its predominance was once dogma, sometimes the kitsch.
