Aspects on vertical design of constructions based on foundation grounds

Summary/Abstract: In the first part of the paper, hydro-geotechnical factors that must be taking into consideration, when choosing the foundation system for buildings located in urban centres, are listed. In the last part is presented a case study from Moldavia region, where due to some errors in the execution process, complex problems occurred.
