SCYTHIAN ANIMAL STYLE AS "LANGUAGE" OF IDEOLOGICAL EXPRESSION OF IDEAS EURASIAN NOMADS

Summary/Abstract: The article studies scythian animal style from the standpoint of semiotic approach – as a kind of system of signs for expressing mythological information. Author is considering the opinion that because of the lack of written language in nomads' culture some of its features could occur in the art of animal style. Also the article defines some characteristics of embodiment of worldview ideas in the "language" of scythian art.
