Summary/Abstract: The article analyses the features of the model of the national memory, represented by historiographycal discourse of 1920-th. Images of historical events and key personalities of intellectual Ukrainian space are considered as attempts of compromising and adaptation of the model of the national memory to the socio-political processes of the Ukrainization.
