Lessons from foreign countries for health care reform in Ukraine

Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes some aspects of health care reforms in Canada, the UK ,Germany, Singapore, in order to use the experience in Ukraine. The necessity of decentralization of this industry, increasing the independence of medical institutions, improvement their funding, liberalization of the pharmaceutical market is substantiated. A new approach to health care reform and increasing its competitiveness in the global market is offered.
