Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the constitutionally guaranteed right of parents to raise a child and care for him. Following the recent decision of the Constitutional Court it analyses the parents’ possibility to choose the way of education and care, which may deviate from the state concept or current social consensus, but which cannot exceed the limits entitling the state to intervene in parents‘ rights in the context of child protection.
