Summary/Abstract: The article is short description of the property market and mortgage market in the years 2007-2011. The analyses presented in this article related among others to: the impact of changes on the real estate market on the credit market development. The factors analyzed in this article are: the total value of the loan portfolio, the number and value of new loans, average size of mortgage credit. Particular attention in this article is devoted to the quality of the portfolio of housing loans in Poland during the period 2007-2011.
