IX International Scientific and Practical Conference “Russia – China: History and Culture”

Summary/Abstract: The relations between Russia and China in the sphere of science and education have become more active in the recent decade. Annual forums and conferences, in which representatives of the scientific community of both countries participate, have been held. This paper provides an overview of the IX International Scientific and Practical Conference “Russia – China: History and Culture” organized on October 6–8, 2016 by the staff and lecturers of the Confucius Institute of Kazan Federal University, Institute of International Relations, History and Oriental Studies. The geography of participants was extensive, as well as the variety of problems covered by them in presentations. Thus, it allows to argue about the urgent and most important problems in the bilateral relations of the two countries.
