Modern process management ‒ the third wave

Summary/Abstract: This article goal is to systematize the terminology and characterize standards of the process management enrolling in a trend known as the third wave of the process approach. This article discusses the evolution of the process management, which led to the emergence of modern process solutions. Particular attention was paid to the concept of Business Process Management (BPM). Its basis and choosen elements were defined and discussed. In the last part of the article, based on literature review, classification standards of business process management were presented.
