Summary/Abstract: We focused in this paper upon some terms that belong to the domain of medical linguistics, showing their etymology and underlining the importance of the Latin element and the Slavic one in the regional medical Romanian vocabulary. These terms also prove their relevance by participating in the construction of some syntagms or expressions used in this domain.
