Summary/Abstract: The article investigates the cross-border cooperation between Ukraine and the EU. The research analyzes common legal instruments of cross-border cooperation between Ukraine and the EU and provides their legal authority. The article defines the important areas of cooperation, including conflict prevention, the protection of borders, combating terrorism, the fight against organized crime, security sector reform etc.
