Unnamed Forms of Protection of Immovable Monuments in the light of Copyright

Summary/Abstract: This article deals with the legal protection of architectural works that have the status of monuments. The research problem is the answer to the question: in what situations, the regulations of the Copyright Act will apply to architectural monuments? The article presents the definitions of the terms: monument and architectural work in Polish law. In detail was analyzed the protection time of architectural works, both in the light of moral copyrights law and financial copyrights law. It was described, detailed regulation of contract related to architectural works in Polish Copyright Act and the specific legal problems that arise in the situation of revaluation (reconstruction) of historic architectural monuments.
