ON THE NEED FOR A STRATEGY ON PROFESSIONAL TRAINING FOR THE PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND ITS EFECTIVENESS

Summary/Abstract: In early October 2016 the Romanian Government adopted a Strategy on professional training for the public administration 2016-2020, in a declared effort to address the multiple issues that have been identified in relation to the training of personnel working in the public administration by various national and international bodies. This paper analyses the causes that led to the need to adopt such a strategy, and expected results of its implementation, in direct relation to the content of the strategy, and the substantiation note prepared by the issuer.
