Summary/Abstract: The implementation of innovation can be an important success factor for the company because it greatly affects its competitiveness. The study shows that Polish companies have relatively low level of innovation. It seems that one of the available methods to improve innovation may be the use of corporate social responsibility. The purpose of this article is the analysis how the activity of a socially responsible company can create innovation. In the first part of paper the author presents the idea of CSR and innovation in theoretical aspects. The following section shows relationship between CSR and innovation, and also presents good practices in the field of CSR and innovation.
