Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is the justification of the main components of the literary scenario of a theatrical performance and to define the specifics and features of the scenario and its significance in creating the theatrical form. The author has also such tasks as to do the classification of scenarios, to determine the characteristics of their compositional structure, techniques and methods of implementation. Methodology. The research methodology is the using of the art history, functional, analytical, comparative methods in the creative work of professional literary scenario as the complex, synthesizing and synthetic basis of any theatrical form. They are used in the analysis of the basic stages of creating a scenario of the variety of variety and mass theatrical forms; in consideration of kinds of scenarios, construction of their literary materials, the classification principle, the main components of the recording and implementing techniques. Scientific novelty. Scientific novelty of the research is to systematize the main criteria of the work on the literary scenario dramatized entertainment performance; to conceptualise of all components of the literary and scenic work; to classify the material complexity of scenarios according to on the subject and content and means of ideological and emotional expressiveness. Conclusions. As a result of the above-mentioned research we could conclude the following positions. First of all, the literary scenario is a necessary basis for any stage or mass performance, which are constructed according to the rules of Theatrical Art. Secondly, the literary scenario requires the author’s creative process, where the author can show an active life position, personal outlook, skills and abilities. Thirdly, the scenario art demands the knowledge of the technology of the literary scenario creation and the ideological and thematic framework of the composite structure, the specifics of the scenario progress, types of artistic works.
