THE POLISH SCOUTING ASSOCIATION IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF UNIEJÓW

Summary/Abstract: Scouting is a social and educational movement, promoting the ideas of helpfulness, self-improvementand fraternity. Scouting activities shape the attitudes and characters of young people.The history of scouting on Polish territory began in 1910–1911. The first scout teams in Uniejówwere formed as early as 1916. In 1975 was set up the Uniejów Troop of the Polish Scouting Association,which belonged at that time to the Konin Section, and was transferred in 1992 to the ŁódźSection. The article presents the activities of the Uniejów Troop during its more than forty-yearslong history
