Summary/Abstract: The article is dedicated to the research of information environment as a set of technical and software measures of preservation, processing, and transfer of information and, also, political, economic, and cultural conditions of the informatization process realization.The information environment is defined as a part of the information space. The author has substantiated that the national information space formation is an important condition of guaranteeing the state sovereignty of Ukraine.
