Summary/Abstract: Joint activities of designers and economists mutually enriching these professionals and gradually forms the scientific bases of design inherent in modern direction ergo-design activities. There are some publications on this issue, GDR, individual design projects. But professional holistic view of the problems that exist. So ergo-design has mainstream updating ergonomic design and activities aimed at optimizing and providing comfort, functional comfort, beauty and perfection, operating conditions and optimization of human functioning in the structure of complex industrial systems, health preservation in a competitive environment and extreme conditions of operation of complex objects defined functional orientation habitat. For many years, especially during the functioning of the Research Institute of technical aesthetics in all branches practiced collaboration of designers and ergonomists during design research or design projects, and depending on the complexity of the objects carried as ergonomic research on the topic, according experimentation and design and ergonomic design. Purpose of Article. The main goal is to prove and actualize ergo-design, to outline the prospects of a new modern trend design activities. Methods. As the research methods used: classification, artistic modelling, systematization and comparative analysis of design decisions. Conclusions. The summary outlines trends and prospects of modern design direction of «Ergo-design» as cultural phenomenon in which subject and object of scientific-practical and aesthetic activity and research is the whole system of artistic, aesthetic and spiritual values of society. Ergo-design in the future must combine a procedural hardware, software, ergonomic support, which in future should be realized in the content-aided design in design. Conclusions. The results allow for further development of particular theories and methodological foundations erhodyzayna, unambiguous use of this discipline in design practice in the educational process in design, exhibition business, and advertising.
