Development of legislative support of a banking investment function in Ukraine

Summary/Abstract: The author has considered the state of banking investment function legislative support and the role of the National Bank of Ukraine in providing a commercial bank investment activity. Ways of the banking investment activity efficiency enhancement have been suggested. The author has attempted to substantiate the necessity of further improvement of organizational and economic powers of the NBU in order to accentuate an issue of the prudential supervision independence.
