Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the work is to analyze intonational lexical layer of a musical composition not in terms of its unique essence, but as a complex of sign-symbolic space,which is characterized by semantic layering. Methodology. The methodology of the article is the using of semantic analysis in the context of which discovered connotative semantic structures that allow us to understand its semantic layers. Scientific novelty. Scientific novelty consists in the application of semantic analysis that will allow us to move from understanding of the individual elements of the musical language to the semantic concepts of musical text. Conclusions. Based on the analysis of the concert piece «Remembering the Great Vivaldi» by Vladimir Ptushkin, a Ukrainian composer, it was found that the openness of the structural elements of musical speech is able to accumulate new meanings and acquire the meaning of the other elements of the art system. The use of the semantic aspect of the analysis allowed us to reveal the deep structure of the musical text, to understand its value measurements and to perform dynamic process of its determination.
