Summary/Abstract: The text explains how non-formal education is becoming increasingly important and complements and builds the formal, how to assess non-formal learning in the activities we manage as pedagogues. A wealth of knowledge is accumulated in integrated lessons, excerpted in nature training and childrens' research projects. Thus, in time, a database is created for the environmental status of the area around the school; environmental problems are outlined; identified are the needs for specific actions to clean and protect nature.
