Summary/Abstract: An attempt considered theoretical aspects of the study phenomenon allonymy in musicology is a specific phenomenon when the composition is signed by the name of another really existing or existed composer. As a particular case of authorship on the whole allonym, it covers a wide range of issues: theoretical aspects of the style, stylistics, stylization, stylistic indices of some historical epochs, national trends, composer’s schools, and individual styles of composers. Аllonymy in musicology is "an insecure" zone where plenty mistakes can be done in trying to research not only the composition with controversial authorship but musical heritage and stylistic features of the creative work of the "authors" as well. The divulgation of this phenomenon helps to restore the lost concept about entirety of musical-historical heritage of the ancient and modern composers.
