Experiment as the core of creative manner of Kyiv Painter Vasyl Zhyrov

Summary/Abstract: The article highlights the features of creative language of Kyiv artist Vasily Zhirov. The analysis of the main periods of painter’s creativity, from the stage of discipleship, the formation, finding of himself in academic, realistic manner, up to the present period of austere and rather aggressive in coloristic sphere stage of the stylization. Aspects of forming of painter’s individual style, his own manner, ways and methods of self-identification in art space, the stages of transformation into the symbol and colour spot have been accented. Early period (formation and "pen test" in the field of academic manner), aspiration to stylization and the stage of experimentation with techniques, textures, materials.
