Summary/Abstract: The Odessa Italian opera theatre activity upon the Riznich family and its partners enterprise has been investigated. The repertoire formation, specificity of the troupe musical-drama activity and the main performers’ vocal and artistic features of creativity has been reviewed. The special attention has been given to the analysis of the actors’ and audience’s mutual relations in the musical theatrical and socially-cultural communications systems, and also to the Odessa Italian theater activity perception in memoirs of contemporaries.
