Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to identify factors that determine the quality of life for disabled people with physical or mental dysfunction. The research uses a direct measurement method based on a questionnaire survey technique – face to face for the pilot group consists of 128 physical or mentally ill persons, residing in Lower Silesia. The analysis uses the statistical methods appropriate for qualitative data such as the tests of independence and the logit models. Based on studies, it was concluded that age, gender, place of residence, education and variables related to the functioning of the society do not have a significant impact on the life satisfaction of disabled people. The life satisfaction of the disabled person has a strong relationship with the financial situation.
