Summary/Abstract: The goal of the work is based on the development dynamics analyzes as well as artistic and aesthetic value determination o f the contest "The Best Coin of the Year”, disclosure of the essence and popularity o f the contest, its role in disseminating information about the annual issues o f commemorative coins, determination of the purpose of the contest "The Best Coin of the Year" as one of the formation aspects the National Bank of Ukraine brand. Methodology. The methodology of the work consists of the application o f analytical, systematic and cultural science methods of conducting scientific research, which enable to study and analyze the development of the numismatic contest "The Best Coin of the Year" holistically in the context of its influence on the formation of the National Bank image. Scientific Novelty. The scientific novelty lies in the theoretical reasoning of the essence and peculiarities of the numismatic contest "The Best Coin of the Year" for creating a positive brand of the National Bank of Ukraine.
