Summary/Abstract: The article investigates the technical and economic aspects of functioning, the main problems and perspectives of development of one of the most promising sectors of alternative energy market — wind energy. The article is considered main features of the legal regulation. For the development of wind power in Ukraine is necessary to form a national energy policy, the creation of the legislative and regulatory framework of renewable energy.
