Summary/Abstract: The implementation of decentralization involves the transfer of additional powers and financial resources from the central to the local level. The decentralization reform is one of the eight priority reforms of the Ukrainian government. The article analyzes the main indicators and trends of financial decentralization in Ukraine in 2014-2016. The influence of financial decentralization on regional development in Ukraine from 2014 to 2016 is characterized.
