Problems of religious tourism in the conditions of modern cultural transformations

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the work is to carry out a cultural understanding of the phenomenon of religious tourism in Ukraine. Religious tourism plays an important role in the system of international and domestic tourism, forming a significant part of the modern tourism industry. The methodology of the study consists in the application of axiological, phenomenological and religious studies methods. The scientific novelty of the work lies in extending the concepts of religious tourism, pilgrimage, religious-philosophical ethnography and their influence on the formation of the worldview of Ukrainian society. Conclusions. Involving people in religious tourism will allow better understanding the cultural and spiritual past, both of our country and of other peoples and cultures.
