Summary/Abstract: In 2006, the European Commission pointed to the ASEAN as a priority and prospective market for the development of mutual economic co-operation. Singapore stands out from other Asian countries with which the EU is negotiating free trade agreements. The negotiations with this country were completed in December 2012 for all chapters of the trade agreement, except for the investment protection part. The negotiations for this chapter were completed in October 2014, and on 26 June 2015 the agreement with this country was initialed. The EUSFTA’s proposed elimination of barrier to imports into Singapore could help the EU, including Polish exporters, to gain this attractive market. The article identifies potential export opportunities based on the analysis of the structure of Polish exports and Singapore imports. In 2006, the European Commission pointed to the ASEAN as a priority and prospective market for the development of mutual economic co-operation.
