Summary/Abstract: This article encompasses considerations and remarks concerning legal institution of self-monitoring of administrative decision. The study takes into account the current case law of administrative courts and the views of the representatives of the doctrine of administrative law and administrative procedure. In particular, the conditions allowing to amend or repeal a administrative decision by the first instance public administration body have been analyzed. This comprises formal and material promises, as well as the 7-day deadline for self-monitoring. In addition, the study reached conclusions de lege ferenda in terms of this procedural institution.
