Cross-sectoral cooperation of social economy entities in the Western Pomeranian Voivodeship

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to diagnose the numbers of existing in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship social economy entities divided into registered, existing and active ones, presenting the scope of cross-sectoral cooperation of these entities with self-government bodies, non-governmental organizations, social economy entities, social economy centers, business and science and mutual needs and expectations. Out of the 800 registered entities, 83% exist and only 64% are active. The surveyed entities most often cooperate with the business sector, local self-government units and non-governmental organizations, and least often with the science sector. The greatest activity is shown by KISs and CISs and the smallest by co-operatives. It turns out that the mutual needs and expectations of the representatives of social economy, science and business are correlated with each other, which is the chance to establish partnership.
