The study of the users and their information needs in the "Mihai Eminescu" Central University Library of Iasi

Summary/Abstract: În circuitul de transfer al informației, utilizatorii constituie elementul fundamental, toate activităţile bibliotecii fiind concepute și adaptate pentru a răspunde cerințelor lor de informare. Studiul utilizatorilor BCU Iaşi a fost realizat prin evaluarea indicatorilor de performanță calculaţi pentru perioada 2004-2005, conform standardelor ISO 2789 și ISO 11620. Inside the transfer circuit of the information, end-users represent the main element, as all the activities of the library are designed to respond to their study needs. The evaluation of the BCU Iasi users was done by analyzing the indicators of performance, which had been calculated between 2004 and 2005, according to ISO 2789 and ISO 11620 standards.
