Summary/Abstract: This study aims at analyzing the process of the British War Council’s decision making about the Dardanelles Campaign and observing how this process determines the British strategy and war aims during the early period of World War I. Upon this analysis, The structure of the organization responsible for decision making in Britain for the conduct of war during the early stages of World War I and the reflections of the main approaches and arguments of the decision makers upon the British strategy and war aims are examined, in case of the decision making process for the Dardanelles Campaign.
