Summary/Abstract: In the article the macroeconomic patterns of functioning national labor market in conditions of instability. The features of the mutual influence of macroeconomic trends and the labor market. The necessity of regulating the national labor market in times of economic instability through economic instruments. Investigated the current mechanism of regulation of the labor market of Ukraine in macroeconomic leverage. The directions of its improvement in order to reduce tension in the labor market.
