Summary/Abstract: 16 years after becoming an independent country Republic of Macedonia and its leaders unfortunately keep the anti-Bulgarian course of policy. During this period the Bulgarian politicians did not succeed in achieving a turning point in the relations with the West neighbour country which was due to serious foreign-political mistakes.
