Summary/Abstract: The Church’s Mission in modern world is realized through the proclamation of the word of God, as a Good News. The source of the Church’s mission is a revealing God, who invites each person for trinitarian community of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Church called to existence by God’s Son, Word-Logos, proclaims Him as “Logos of Hope” through missio ad gentes and the new evangelization. In this task the testimony of Christian life plays an irreplaceable role. The Word of God, like the Christian faith itself, has a profoundly intercultural character; it is capable of encountering different cultures and in turn enabling them to encounter one another. Interreligious dialog, led by the Church, is a particular instrument of inculturation. It searches for the common points, together with other religious representatives and denominations on both theological and anthropological basis.
