Summary/Abstract: We aim at conducting a psychological and geographical analysis of River Târgului drainage area upstream of Râuşor Lake. This basin is located between Dâmboviţa Basin to the east and Argeş Basin to the west, an ecosystem affected by human activities. The most important changes referred to the appearance of lake’s bowl, asphalted access roads and the building of Voina hostel and Cuca hut, constructions that led to another pressure in the area. The human activity also determined versants instability and grass in alpine meadows used for grass and cattle paths.
