Summary/Abstract: The signing of the definitive Peace Agreement in Colombia in November 2016 put an end to the actions of the FARC guerrilla, after more than five decades of violence in Colombia. However, the big challenges are now those of post-conflict situations. Given that the entire institutional apparatus is committed to the advancement and consolidation of a stable and lasting peace, this article aims to give an account of the opportunities that the Colombian diplomacy can provide at this stage, through a strategy that combines the traditional diplomacy initiatives with the ones of the field of public diplomacy and cultural diplomacy. On the occasion of the one year anniversary of the Peace Agreement, this paper will make a review of some actions considered seeds of peace, that have been carried out by the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, inside Colombian borders and abroad. In this sense, this article will highlight some diplomatic actions in vulnerable areas in the countryside, in multilateral environments such as the United Nations, and in bilateral relations. It will also present the diplomatic actions conducted on the consular level. Analyzing all of these diplomatic actions, the study tries to find a common thread of this integral and coherent approach advanced in the hope of beginning of a Colombian diplomacy for peace.
