Summary/Abstract: The present study analyzes the directions of teachingmethodology’s modernizing emphasizing in the theoretical level theneed to move from traditional methods of assessment to thecomplementary ones. The research project has targeted asobjectives: studying the option of secondary education teachers touse complementary or traditional methods of assessment incomparison with the seniority in teaching and learningenvironment.The research sample involved teachers in secondaryeducation, both urban and rural areas, being a nationally stratifiedsampling. The results of the research get the adhesion of the teachersto use complementary methods of assessment.
