Onthe other hand, the isolation from the group and the absence of aharmonious relationship with the classmates contribute to low selfesteem, psychological discomfort, manifestation of hostility towardsschool and the other students, anxiety. In order to develop the abilityto accommodate to the school group, to communicate and relate tothe classmates and the teachers, we have designed and implementeda syllabus within the curricular area of ‘School Counselling andGuidance’, including specific, appropriate activities, which wouldmeet the actual requirements of the preadolescents of the 5th grade, requirements established during our investigations.
