Factors that motivate pupils of secondary schools to learn mathematics

Summary/Abstract: This source article is dedicated to the issue of motivation in pupils’ learning, especially learning mathematics. The subject of motivating factors that are very significant in the teaching - learning process is discussed. The author introduces a list of factors described in the subject literature and then presents the results of own research. The summary contains practical application of research conclusions in a maths teacher’s job.
