Cooperation Between Special Educational Centre and Selected Local Institutions

Summary/Abstract: Partnership activities and mutual co-operation between education and care centres and local environment institutions, including educational establishments, is a necessity. What constitutes the basis of these activities are the provisions of educational law and objectives for which these institutions have been established. A special education centre is an institution that provides care and education for children and young people with special educational needs. It carries out tasks aimed at the comprehensive development of the child and preparation for adult life. The life situation of its charges as well as care and educational tasks undertaken by the institution constitute a particular challenge for the tutors in terms of cooperation with local environment institutions
