Summary/Abstract: The Eucharist involves a real transformation of gifts into the body and blood of the Lord, as food for eternity.The Eucharist does not share the person of Jesus Christ, but the body and blood of the Lord, that is, His transfigured human nature.This transfiguration, theologically called the eucharistic conversion of bread and wine into the body and blood of the Lord, can only be understood by knowing the thesis of the one reason that contains the rationale of all beings and things, a thesis depicted by the Apostles John and Paul and developed by Saints Vasil the Great and Maximus the Confessor, and from the theologians it’s explain by the Father Dumitru Staniloae.
