Summary/Abstract: The use of French in Côte d’Ivoire is subject to strong influences arising from the pressures that the linguages in contact and the users exercise on the French language. The immediate consequence is formation of a local french who tries to find its own ways through an original grammatical and semantic structuring. An aspect of this originality is found in the syntaxic-semantic organization of the iteration whose contrastive approch makes it possible to establish that it is built on the principle of reduplication. The interest of this article is to show, indeed, that the contrastive approch between local french and standard french, in terms of verbal iteration, reveals different characteristics due to the fact that local french, especially, is impregnated of the structural forms of local languages.
