Summary/Abstract: It is systematized the semantic load of categories - property, real estate, immovable property in the context of current law of Ukraine, and it is revealed the state of statistical observations in construction. It is made the analysis of the housing market in Ukraine based on statistical data for the period 2010-2015, it is analyzed the dynamics of capital investments in housing construction and the volume of commissioned housing in terms of economic regions of Ukraine, the rating of Ukraine’s regions at a cost and the total area of commissioned housing in 2016 is built. The problems of completeness official data on the Ukrainian real estate market are investigated. It is proposed to expand the range of indicators concerning the price of property, to improve accountability and to provide public access to statistical information on the real estate market in Ukraine.
