Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the research is to show the benefits of theimplementation of the DCFTA in Moldova and in Transnisriaand the way it improves the relation between Transnistria,Moldova and the EU. This has been done by examining economicindicators and comparing them based on two periods of time,before and after the implementation of the DCFTA Agreement.Upon the examination of these, it becomes clear that the DCFTAenhances economic development on the territory of Moldovathrough the opportunities it offers and the application ofnecessary reforms in the economic sector.The research highlights the importance of economic developmentand economic benefits as a reconciliation tool for conflicts,precisely the Transnistrian frozen conflict.
