Summary/Abstract: This paper makes a comparative analysis of fixed similes with the component Jesus Christ and its synonyms, their representation in dictionaries, and their usage by native speakers. As a result, the author reveals biblical structural semantic universals as well as set comparisons with national peculiarities.
